EA book published!

The first Exploding Alphabets collection, I Hate Exploding Alphabets, is now out.

The pamphlet, featuring 24 pages of original, innovative poetry conceived of and/or performed on the 8th August 2006 is available for just the cost of P&P.

In the spirit of the evening, I Hate Exploding Alphabets is a DIY publication made possible with the kind support of Connie and Morden Tower. Exploding Alphabets is an evening of performance, poetry and sound that revels in anonymity, an evening that places the importance of the words above the individual, an evening that demands NO OLD WORK.

I Hate Exploding Alphabets will be posted to anyone who wants one, subject to availability. The print run was limited so requests will be dealt with on a 'first come, first served' basis. Priority will however be given to those that contributed, so if you were there on 08/08/06, indicate the poem you submitted and you will jump to the top of the list. Send requests to mordentower@gmail.com and we'll send you information on where to send your SAE.

Watch this space!

Exploding Alphabets are currently on holiday having curated and performed a years worth of events. Our motto is 'no old work' and ensuring that the night stays vital and challenging is paramount to achieving the quality that EA has seen over the last 12 months.

Watch this space for details of the return of Newcastle's most innovative and challenging poetry night, as well as the free, self-published compilation of poetry entitled "I Hate Exploding Alphabets".

EA opens its doors to all as either observers or participants. All work must be new and
unperformed and all must be prepared to be part of an audience that does things, an audience that thinks. Exploding Alphabets is as much of a creative process as it is an event.

Never miss another event! Email mordentower@gmail.com to be included on the Morden Tower mailing list.
